posting classified ads on my website?

August 26th, 2009

Hi. My name is Rachel and I am on Yahoo Answers looking for help with a certain problem im having. I am building a website on my computer. I have a mac so i am using the program IWeb. I dont know if you are familiar with it. The issue i am having is on one of the pages on my site i want my customers to be able to pay for an ad posting and place the ad on my site similar to how craigslist does it. where you pay and fill out the form and your posting shows up for a certain amount of time. The payment option i want to use is paypal.

Can anyone help me.

We use iWeb. It’s great for design. But, it’s missing anything you would need for e-commerce or selling ads.

With a little perl or php you can add a cart function for e-commerce or rotating banner ads.

You could do a paypal link as is, but you would have to do a lot of manual work to update your pages in iWeb.
