DOES ANYONE KNOW OF VALID FREE CLASSIFIED SITES WHERE I CAN POST ADS WHICH DO NOT ASK FOR PHONE NUMBERS ?

August 16th, 2009

Most sites I know of ask for telephone numbers and stuff. And most of the lists of classifieds I found on the net are either broken sites or blogs which do not accept ads.

Besides craigslist, you can try oodle.com

http://www.oodle.com/

and freecycle.org.

If posting to get rid of an item, freecycle only accepts items which are given away for free.

None that I know of. Craigslist does ask for a phone number, maybe depending on area. I listed my car on there 2 months ago and I had to verify my phone number. They called me and an automated message gave me a code I had to enter in at craigslist, so I dont know why people are saying they dont, when they do now.

    edit:
Why the thumbs down? Is anything I said above not the truth? Below is tons of websites explaining Craigslist’s new "phone verification policy" so whats up with the thumbs down for what I said when its the absolute truth?
